Sai has over 29 years steel fixing and construction industry experience. Starting in Australia as a tie hand, years of determination and a willingness to learn developed his career to supervising steel fixing on key projects. Sai's NZ and Australian projects include Wind Farms, High Rise Buildings, Tunnels (Victoria Park, Auckland), Coal and Gas Mining Building Foundations, Port Construction and numerous bridges including the Gateway Bridge (Brisbane) and SH25a Taparahi Slip Bridge Replacement after the devastating effects of Cyclone Gabrielle. A strong desire to share his knowledge and experience for the betterment of the overall final product and lift the professionalism within the steel fixing sector led to the creation of Pacific Steelfixing Limited. Sai uses his considerable operations knowledge, technical skills, ability to analyse engineer drawings and risk analysis capability to provide improvements and efficiency options for clients.
